Ceramic Glazed Bricks

Glazed bricks have been an integral part of the architectural landscape for thousands of years.

La Covadonga glazed clay bricks are utilised in a wide variety of building projects including residential homes; commercial buildings, schools, hospitals, sports facilities and accommodation, apartment buildings, office structures, tunnels, train stations, underground stations, gas stations, and parks

Available in almost any colour, with a wide range of finishes and textures. The only limitation is your imagination.

The unique La Covadonga clay used to make the bricks produces a very strong, durable, and long lasting fired clay brick. They are fired in the kiln at very high temperatures, using a single-firing process. Single firing of the bricks causes the glaze to fuse with the clay and it becomes an integral part of the brick.

Their distinct characteristics set them apart from and above other brick products. They have exceptional technical and aesthetic qualities.

La Covadonga clay fired glazed bricks are Exposure Grade. They are very resistant to outside influences such as heat, frost, damp, and UV light and they perform very well in coastal and saline environments.

Their impervious ceramic glazed surface is waterproof, extremely durable, hardwearing, low maintenance, and resistant to staining.

The colour will not fade, and the glaze will not craze. There will no be egg-shell cracking in the brick’s glazed surface. It will stay the same for the life of the structure.

They are perfect for external cladding and facades and internal facades, including high traffic areas.

Klinker La Covadonga manufactures full sized bricks in a wide variety of sizes, including bespoke sizes.
